CONFIDENCE - SUPPORT - COMMUNITY

The FHS Peer Mentorship Program is a faculty-specific, peer mentoring group open to all undergraduate students. Our goal is to strengthen the FHS community by connecting incoming first year with senior Health Sciences students to create a welcoming environment for all.

Over the course of each academic year at SFU, our volunteer mentors act as a social and academic resource for their mentees as they adjust to their first year of university life. While they are not tutors or counselors, they are friendly, outgoing individuals trained to listen, advise, and guide students to SFU's various campus resources.
